HOW I WORK WITH PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTISTS
The photo printing I do for artists is silver gelatin large format prints on archival fiber-based paper. Only the best.
Rather than printing a collection of work, my printing services should be reserved for those prints that likely are your best and which you would like multiple copies of for sale and distribution.
I will work with you to test out print techniques to achieve the desired final product. Once perfected, I recommend printing multiple copies of your work, often six to a dozen.
In exchange for my service, I request finished copies of your final prints autographed by you to add to my personal collection, which I may display or sell at some point in the future.
If my printing costs will be exorbitant or if you require a special paper or process for which I need to order supplies, I may ask you to reimburse some or all of my costs. Depending on my supply stock, I may include this into our trade arrangement.
We can discuss and agree upon details and specifications of how our arrangement unfolds. I’m open to all suggestions. I solely am looking for the opportunity to be inspired by your great work and to help you get it into the hands of others who desire to own and admire it.
HOW I WORK WITH PHOTOGRAPHY CLIENTS
I do not “charge” for my time, knowledge and skill, but I do want to get compensated for my expenses. Your work deserves the best production materials, and I do not compromise on quality.
In lieu of “charging” for my work, I request to share our joint-produced work. I only photograph and print work that inspires me, so I will request to keep copies of photographic prints for my own collection, which I may display or sell at some point in the future.
All joint production relationships are open for discussion, so we can create a partnership that works for all.
